Yes it’s a Florida car, yes it is dually’d at the center, but not the back.
Step 1; Wait until your opponents have maximum tactical advantage over you before asking for something they don’t want to give you. If you have the advantage before hand and can get it without their interference FOR LITERALLY YEARS ...don’t.
Step 2; When talks begin, tell your opponents that you will take the full broadside of the fallout if talks fall apart. If this means a punch in the dick everyday for however long until talks are resumed or the problem is resolved some other way, tell them that you will take it. Make sure it is televised so millions of people will see it and m illions more will tweet and meme it for those that didn’t.
Step 3; Demand everything you want and offer nothing. Do this from a position of tactical weakness so you are guaranteed to get turned down. Storm out of the talks like this totally preventable outcome wasn’t made inevitable b y your own actions.
Step 4; Blame your opponents for the fallout. When people point out all that stuff you said in Step 2, just tell everyone you didn’t say that.
Step 5; Make an offer that is not at all comparable to what you are asking for, such that your opponents won’t even be pressured to say yes by anyone, even under dire circumstances.
Step 6; Relent and give your opponents everything they want while you have made no progress at all towards what you wanted, but only after you’ve done a totally preventable and devastating amount of damage to yourself.

It just shows you that Trump’s team has absolutely no idea how to govern. It’s all a bunch of rich white guys, who have been rich all of their lives, and have never had anybody say “ No” to them. I’m not sure when this started, that Republicans will take their ball and go home unless they get absolutely everything they want and the other side gets nothing. As my grandfather said, “A Republican can’t enjoy his dinner unless he knows somebody else is hungry.” But they approached this manufactured crisis in the belief that they would get their way, and they didn’t. It’s how government works. Compromise is good.

Yet having seen just a few pages or people talking, the mental gymnastics they’re doing to say he won is amazing.

I think the problem is much worse than that. Most presidents aren’t going to know how to govern as a president since they’ve never done the job before. But the smart ones among them mitigate that by staffing advisers who’ve seen the levers of power in Washington all their lives and can advise them on how and when they get pulled. This is why you see the same names pop up occasionally when a new president comes in and it’s time for those advisory and cabinet roles to get staffed.
You need the wisdom to see when a misstep will happen (or to think it’s a given that they will) and humility to ask for help. Someone who thinks they ‘know all the best words’ and believes themselves to be a ‘stable genius’ who sees the strengths in others as an affront will have neither of those things. This means small problems won’t be avoided until they turn into cancerous ulcers that can’t be lanced off without committing a serious and completely avoidable amount of time, energy, and pain to them.

I just love that the vehicle pictured is built on a German car. The irony is THICK.
